Our Story
Filo Logistics was built on real operational experience — not theory.
In 1992, my father founded Filo America, an import and distribution company focused on beauty and personal care products such as razors, cotton, baby wipes, and related consumer goods. From a young age, my brother and I were involved in the business. We sat in on decisions, learned how product moved through the supply chain, and watched firsthand what it takes to meet retailer requirements without costly chargebacks.
We grew up receiving containers, managing inventory, repacking product, and shipping to major retailers under strict vendor compliance standards. That hands-on foundation taught us something most logistics providers never truly understand: how difficult it is when you are the one purchasing the inventory, managing the margins, and owning the risk of a rejected shipment.
When we later pivoted our facilities into third-party logistics, we brought that same perspective with us. Today we remain a family-run operation — small enough to stay nimble and responsive, yet disciplined enough to deliver the consistency and performance expected of a much larger company. We serve a diverse group of niche clients with highly specific operational needs, and we treat every account as if it were our own.
